Emergency Management Committee
The City of Perth, is Chair of the Local Emergency Management Committee, which consists of Police, FESA and the City of Perth.

In the event of an emergency, it is important to be able to contact all occupiers without delay, whether that occupier is an owner or a tenant of the premises. To ensure a more effective local emergency register, a survey has been undertaken of the large number of tenanted premises for which occupancy and contact details were not readily available .

This information is made available to the City of Perth Local Emergency Management Committee.

Emergency Alerts 
Alerts are only issued during a serious emergency (where life or property is endangered) or when a hazardous situation exists close to populated areas. You can obtain information during an emergency by:

Accessing the FESA website: www.fesa.wa.gov.au 
Ringing 1300 657 209 for regularly updated recorded messages 
Listening to the radio (ABC 630AM)
