SOCIAL MEDIA FOR YOUR BUSINESS
On Friday 4 March 2011, the City of Perth hosted a seminar on social media and online marketing for business use. The seminar, entitled Social Media For Your Business, aimed to provide an introduction to the different social media tools available to businesses. Six guest speakers provided information on the benefits of social media and on specific tools including website development, Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Blogging and Vlogging.
The seminar was well attended by a diverse range of businesses from within the City of Perth Local Government Area and surrounding suburbs. The City of Perth is now encouraging all attendees to provide feedback on the event and make suggestions on the type of content they would like to see included in future events, by completing an online survey.
